Our Rich History:

Since 1941, Carlton Foods has been producing quality smoked sausage for the retail grocer and food-servcie markets.

Beginning in Houston, TX with a full line of sausage and salads, we expanded to the Central Texas market in 1972 with the purchase of a small plant in New Braunfels.  In 1985, after further plant expansions, Carlton’s began a private label manufacturing program that has provided us with the experience and production flexibility needed for today’s private label market.

Today, most of our production is for our sister companies: Blue Ribbon, J.C. Potters and Richard’s.  We also have a line of premium smoked sausage under the Carlton label.

The Carlton Tejano and Country Boy labels are also manufactured and marketed by Carlton Foods Corporation.

Randy Rust is the President of Carlton Foods Corporation.  Lee Agnello is the Sales Manager.
